Robin Bush: Managing Director
Information: Robin has worked with in the care sector for over 20 years. He began his career as a support worker at a residential school for children with severe learning disabilities in South Devon. It was during his time at the school, that he developed an interest in Autism Spectrum Conditions, which was to become a feature of his career. On leaving Devon, he lived and worked on the Isle of Man and was instrumental in developing the first specific services for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis on the Island. Robin returned to England and continued to develop supported living services for adults with a range of complex needs, including those with mental health conditions, severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Robin comes to Living Ambitions from a small social care provider in Lancashire where he held the position of Managing Director. He has a firm commitment to ensuring continued development of bespoke quality support services.
As a social care professional, Robin has gained a City and Guilds in Care Management, NVQ4 Registered Managers Award, SVQ4 in Care and an Advanced Certificate Special Education Autism (Adults). He has also gained his Post Graduate Diploma in Social Services Management and a Masters Degree in Social Services Management.
Jodie Allen-Cawley : Operations Director
Information: Jodie has over 20 years experience, 14 years at management level in the Social Care arena, supporting different clients groups in various settings, particularly in the Learning Disability and Supported Living field.
Jodie has gained her management qualifications and the recognised underpinning knowledge giving her an excellent understanding of the dynamics of Social Care.
Being an NVQ Assessor, Learning Supporter and qualified to deliver training has given Jodie the opportunity to contribute effectively to the professional development of others, which demonstrates her own commitment to quality services not just within the organisation but in the sector as a whole.
Jodie is especially passionate about Person Centred Planning, putting the people she supports at the heart of the decision making process, and tailoring creative services around individual need.
Being an accredited Peron Centred Planning facilitator has enabled Jodie to plan with the people and families she supports, again ensuring individuals are in control of their own lives and that families and carers are listened to. Seeing firsthand the difference planning makes to people’s lives, is one of Jodie’s key motivators!
Maureen Hunstone: Operations Manager
Information: Mo has 23years experience in the Health and Social care sector. She began her journey supporting the elderly, moving on to support learning disabled citizens. After a change in direction to work with adolescents,where she gained an NVQ3 Children and families Mo returned to the learning disability field where she achieved an NVQ4 in Leadership and Management.
Mo has a passion for communication and,through her training to be a Total Communication Coordinator and experiences works with the staff team to ensure every citizen has in place everything they need to be able to communicate through their chosen method.
